Dr. Jim Kostecki

Dr. Jim Kostecki earned his bachelor's degree from the University of Montana in 1992, where he also received his commission as an Army officer through the University's ROTC program. He proudly served in the U.S. Army for 11 years before pursuing his passion for chiropractic care.

In 2003, Dr. Jim graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. A Missoula native, he returned home to Montana and is honored to provide chiropractic care to the families of the Bitterroot Valley through his practice in Hamilton.

Throughout his career, Dr. Jim has had the privilege of working alongside outstanding chiropractors, physicians, athletic trainers, physical therapists, and other healthcare professionals in Missoula, Stevensville, Hamilton, and across the United States and internationally. These experiences have shaped his patient-centered approach to care, allowing him to integrate a wide range of proven techniques and treatment strategies to help patients recover from injury, improve function, and achieve their health goals.

Dr. Kostecki is a trusted chiropractor serving the Bitterroot Valley and is a participating VA Community Care provider, offering chiropractic services to eligible veterans through the VA Care in the Community program. Veterans interested in receiving care can request a referral from their VA primary care provider.

Before establishing his practice in Hamilton, Dr. Jim practiced chiropractic in his hometown of Missoula and worked with the University of Montana Grizzly Athletic Department at the Rhinehart Athletic Treatment Center, providing care for student-athletes across multiple sports.

Drawing on his extensive sports medicine experience, Dr. Jim has traveled throughout the United States teaching advanced musculoskeletal evaluation and treatment techniques to military special operations medics. He also served as a sports chiropractor for the Fiji and Samoa Men's National Rugby Sevens teams, caring for elite international athletes during competition.

Committed to serving his community both inside and outside the clinic, Dr. Jim joined the Hamilton Volunteer Fire Department in 2011. He is proud to support the residents of the Bitterroot Valley through both his healthcare practice and his dedication to public service.
